Working alongside Briggs and Forrester Living, which is responsible for the mechanical, electrical and public health installations for the project, Hager is supplying more than 400 of its pre-assembled and bespoke consumer units for installation at a new and prestigious construction development by St George, part of the Berkeley Group at Chelsea Creek near the Kings Road.

Comprising of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, the high-end waterfront development will deliver a characteristically European-style of living to its residents through a combination of meandering waterways and tree-lined avenues. The apartments will retail from £855,000 to £5 million.

Hager is supplying the pre-configured consumer units, complete with MCBs and RCBOs which will then be included in the overall prefabricated utility service construction process before the finished utility cupboards are delivered to site fully assembled. 

This effective preparatory stage enables speedy installation to support the construction timescale and will ensure the final utility connections within the luxurious apartments are both straightforward and positioned out of sight.

With certainty of supply and proven performance, pre-assembled consumer units are an increasingly popular solution that deliver tangible efficiencies for intensive installation programmes such as the one in place at Chelsea Creek.

The major construction development at Chelsea Creek is currently underway, with completion expected in 2023.
