Digital Support

Tools To Help Our Customers

In these unprecedented times, the electrical trade, like many others, is having to realign the way day-to-day working practices are carried out.

Social distancing means many contractors and wholesalers are currently unable to undertake their typical working day with many confined to their homes for the foreseeable future.

We are committed to supporting the trade during such an uncertain period.  And in doing so by offering a combination of on and offline tools and resources so that access to essential technical information, learning and development and interactive connections to colleagues in the industry via social media, is always available.

Online information and support

We have created a wide range of online tools that can help the trade keep up to date with essential information, news and business updates. Our eCat mobile app provides digital access to product information, technical data, descriptions and trade prices, while other online resources including advisory white papers, in-depth product brochures and BIM support can be accessed via its website.

Teamwork.

Our technical teams remain available to assist with technical and product queries both via telephone and online.  So, whatever your query, our experts are on hand to help and support contractors with any issues.

Stay connected on social

Our #HagerGang community on social media allows electrical contractors to connect with like-minded individuals and stay up-to-date on the latest news regarding our company and the industry.  It’s a great way to keep in touch, swap experiences and pass on tips – especially at a time when getting out and about is restricted.

Training and development

In addition to the tools available from us, contractors should look to use this time to expand their industry knowledge through training during these quieter times. Several courses are available online from a number of providers including the NICEIC and ELECSA.

Paul Collins our technical and training manager, comments: “A lot of industries are having to adapt to new ways of working in the current climate and the electrical trade is no exception.  We stand behind the UK’s electrical professionals and wholesalers and remain committed to supporting them with a range of options including whitepapers on key issues, to placing technical experts at the end of the phone.  We would encourage contractors to take the opportunity to further enhance their knowledge in readiness for a return to a more familiar working environment.”
