flow
energy management system

Smart and simple. No stress, flow only.
Optimizes the storage, management and charging of and with self-generated energy for private households.

Install the future
with energy management

Everything is in flow
The digitization of the energy transition, the switch to e-mobility, the conversion of the power grid. In addition, rising energy costs favor the demand for an independent power supply. With flow, the new home energy management system from Hager, you can turn this development into your future business. flow consists of energy storage, energy manager and e-charging station and is certified according to ISO 50001 and ISO 50002.

Save electricity

Electricity from the solar system with storage can be used at any time and creates independence. The flow energy storage, as a complete system with inverter, battery converter and modules, makes energy use flexible and efficient:

  • Variable storage capacity up to 19.5 kWh
  • Charging and discharging power of 4.5 kW (from a battery capacity of 9.75 kWh)
  • With 100% emergency power supply (optional)

Manage energy

The space-saving energy manager controls the flow of energy to consumers in the house, such as the heat pump, the power storage unit and the e-car charging station.

  • Location: independent commissioning via the cloud
  • Can be integrated into the domovea smart home solution

Recharge electricity

With the witty solar charging station the e-car can be refueled with electricity from your own PV system or your own energy storage. The energy manager ensures maximum self-consumption with minimum electricity costs.

  • Optimum charging performance through dynamic phase switching
  • Performance-oriented charging up to 22kW and blackout protection

"For me, the energy management system flow is really well thought out. I notice that in the functions as well as in the installation and maintenance."

Allgau electrical house

flow, the all-in-one system

Energy managers, power storage and the witty solar charging station are perfectly tailored to the needs of the residents of modern properties.

Always cleverly combined

The capacity of the energy storage flow can be individually adapted to the needs of your customers.

Commissioning & becoming a partner

flow partners benefit from a comfortable installation through the cloud solution, competent support and a compact seminar.

Well combined:
flow energy packages

We offer flow in several variants, capacities of 6.5 kWh, 9.75 kWh, 13 kWh, 16.25 kWh, 19.5 kWh. In this way, the generated energy can be used to a maximum extent. Energy storage and energy manager form the basis of both packages. Package 2 also enables the integration of up to 3 charging stations for electric cars.

Energy pack base

The basic equipment for everyone who wants to use the energy they generate themselves:

+ Energy storage

+ Energy manager

Energy package plus

With the addition of the witty solar charging station to the basic package, your customers can ideally have electricity at no cost:

+ Energy storage

+ Energy manager

+ Charging station witty solar

Everything at a glance!

The web interface of flow provides information about all electricity flows and consumption within the home. The display is divided into three sections: MyHome shows the current energy status of the home and the charging cycles of up to three different electric vehicles. Forecast predicts the expected solar values and PV electricity purchases. Performance informs the user about the performance and advantages of flow. In addition, conclusive energy reports can be compiled for any desired period of time.

Easy to configure and
operate

In just a few steps you can bring energy storage, energy manager and charging station under one roof - and your customers save money. The dashboard guides you through all work steps in a self-explanatory manner. And thanks to location-independent commissioning via the cloud, you too can optimize your work processes.

01 Login and manage Log

into the flow configurator via your myHager account. Verify the installation and enable remote access via your myHager account. The project is secured on the Hager Cloud and is securely managed there.

02 Connecting components You network all components with one another
via a central interface. You can access it at any time from your smartphone, tablet or desktop and make the desired settings.

03 Handover to customer and maintenance
At the customer's site, all you have to do is connect the components in a plug-and-play manner. A clear dashboard is available to your customer. Here the customer can also authorize you for full visibility of their plant and live data. In this way, if necessary, remote maintenance is also possible.

Energy management for the intelligent home

Through the use of photovoltaic systems or cogeneration plants, the home of the future is increasingly becoming less of a pure consumer and more of an active "producer" of electricity. In other words, it is developing into an all-in-one electricity generation and consumption system. All energy and data highways come together in the technical centre. Thanks to intelligent energy management, the meter cabinet is to a certain extent becoming the "brain of the house" and a trendsetter for the energy revolution on a smaller scale.

Full energy control

An energy meter and visualisation from flow give the user an overview of all electricity consumption and purchases in the home at all times.

Solar energy

Photovoltaic electricity from your own rooftop can be used to charge an electric vehicle and supply household consumption as well as – for payment – be fed into the regional electricity grid.

Wind energy

The stronger the wind blows, the cheaper wind energy becomes. Significant surplus capacity even results in negative electricity prices, i.e. the purchaser gets money back.

Conventional energy

Gas and coal-fired power plants today cover the main burden of energy supply. In the wake of the German federal government's Energiekonzept 2050 energy plan, the proportion of renewable energy sources for gross final consumption of energy will be set at 60% in future, while for electricity generation, this will even be extended to 80%.

Batteries as energy accumulators

In the future, it will also be possible to integrate energy storage into flow.

On the road with Audi AG

Charging a car can push the supply to its output limits. To guard against this and allow charging with maximum output, we are developping together with Audi AG a concept for charging the Audi e-tron: flow – the intelligent Home Energy Management System. We are delighted to have a strong partner by our side for this joint project with Audi.
