Wiring Rules Standard Change
Important update for Type AC Devices.
The electrical Regulatory Authorities Council (ERAC) have released a new clause (Clause 2.6.3.2.5) regarding the phase-out of Type AC Devices before the end of April.
Important Notice:
From April 30th 2023, the installation or sale of Type AC Residual Current Devices (RCDs/RCBOs) will no longer be permitted in Australia - in accordance with the April 2021 Amendment 2 of AS/NZS3000:2018 Wiring Rules.
