How to set it up?

The param­eters of the sentinel trip unit can be adjusted on the front panel using dials. In addition, the LCD display can be acti­vated via the USB-C inte­rface with a power source, battery or laptop, to view the sett­ings made.

Acti­vate the display

The LCD display can also be acti­vated 
by an exte­rnal power supply via the 
USB-C port (e.g. a power bank or laptop)

Dials

The prot­ection param­eters can be 
confi­gured with the dials, without 
any conve­rsion, since the actual 
values can be read directly on the 
display

 

Prot­ection sett­ings

All sett­ings and measured values are 
disp­layed clearly with high cont­rast 
on the display. Furt­he­rmore, fault 
notific­at­ions and other info­rmation 
are diffe­re­nt­i­ated by their colour to 
facil­itate their reading order

Open the battery comp­artment 
to access the neutral conductor

You can find all the sett­ings at any time by pres­sing the OK key. Most of the measured values can be disp­layed nume­ric­ally and grap­h­ic­ally.

 

Trigger and alarm notific­at­ions

A color code defines the level of crit­ic­a­lity of the events: orange for an alarm, red for a trigger.

The hw+ air circuit brea­kers come with a full package of acce­s­s­ories: commands, signals, prot­ect­ions, locking and inte­rloc­king systems. This allows you to confi­gure your ACB acco­rding to your individual needs. 

Auxil­iary Contacts (AX)

Auxil­iary contacts are used to remotely signal the status of the ACB (ON or OFF).
• 4 auxil­iary switches are mounted as standard on ACB HW1 & HW2
• 6 auxil­iary switches are mounted as standard on ACB HW4
• ready to be conn­ected

Spring charging motor

The spring charging motor is used to charge the spring mechanism when the ACB is closed.

• Suit­able with all common power supply voltages

 

 

Coils

The coils are used to remotely open or close the ACB. 3 coils in total can be mounted in the ACB:
• 1 Shunt trip coil (SH) or 2 if no UV required
• 1 Unde­rv­oltage release (UV) or 2 if no SH required
• 1 Closing coil (CC)
• Commun­ic­ating coils option for sentinel Energy

 







 

Push button COV

Prevent push button touc­hing with padloc­king systems. Can also be used to force and lock in OFF the ACB.

Off Locking Keylock (OLK)

Easily Lock the ACB in OFF thanks to a Ronis keylock.

Mech­an­ical inte­rlock (MI)

Inte­rlock 2 or 3 ACB together for safety applic­at­ions. Comp­atible for all circuit breaker vers­ions (3P & 4P, Fixed & Drawout)
