The subsidiary of Hager in the Middle East was established in 1997 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Since then, the business has expanded to other cities in the region, including the Kingdom of Saudi-Arabia and Qatar, with the establishment of offices, local warehouses and logistics, as well as a representative for Oman.
The subsidiary takes particular pride in its diverse workforce, which includes over one-third women and represents a total of eight different nationalities.
In 2023, the region celebrated the 25th anniversary of Hager Middle East.
For the first time in history, eight Arab teams have qualified for the World Cup, among them Qatar and Saudi Arabia. After making their first appearance when hosting the 2022 World Cup, Qatar’s “Maroons” now qualified through their performance and are eager to follow up on their debut when playing against Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Switzerland in Group B. Saudi Arabia’s “Green Falcons” have qualified for their seventh World Cup, facing Spain, Uruguay and Cap Verde in Group H.
