Just over 30 years ago, Hager established its presence in Australia. They have celebrated major milestones, including the launch of the Hager onekonekt system, the Work Hard Play Hard contractor management initiative and the introduction of the latest ACB and MCCB range.
Australia’s spirit of progress is embodied by its national symbols: the kangaroo and emu, both of which can only move forward - never backward. They’re featured on the Commonwealth Coat of Arms.
Fun fact: A Hager employee is related to Dimitris "Jimmy" Patikas, a former Australian football player and the manager of Marrickville FC.
Australia’s love for football is undeniable. After their record-breaking 2023 Women’s World Championship run, the Matildas (Australia’s women’s national team) now regularly draw higher crowds and TV ratings than their male counterparts.
Meanwhile, the “Socceroos”, Australia men's national football team, have secured their place at a sixth successive World Championship and compete in Group D against Turkey, the United States and Paraguay. New Zealand’s “All Whites” have also qualified for the tournament and face Belgium, Egypt, and Iran in Group G.
