Having made it most often in the top 3 of the World Championship, the German men’s national football team has won four titles and appeared in the finals 8 times. Germany is also among two teams that have won both the women's and men's World Championship tournament. “Die Mannschaft” once again qualified for the tournament, playing against Curaçao, Côte d’Ivoire and Ecuador in Group E.
