During the World Championships, Austria gives it all in every match.  The team demonstrates total commitment, exceptional technique and strong team spirit. In 1989, 85 years after the Austrian national team’s first participation in the competition, Hager founded the company Electro Ges.m.b.H in Austria on the strength of the Hager brand already present in the country since the 1970s supported through several sales offices.

Through its constant growth, Austria plays a major role within the Hager team. We have a new sales office that was inaugurated in Leopoldsdorf, near Vienna, in 1996, and the acquisition of TEHALIT in 1998 was a decisive strategic decision, as it facilitated the integration of a leading cable management brand into the group’s product portfolio. And with the family business being responsible for the building automation of places such as the SK Rapid Wien Allianz Stadium, Hager naturally feels very close to football in Austria.
