Tested and
trusted

Your reputation means everything to us and we go to great lengths to preserve it. To provide you with electrical products that are reliable, safe and built to last, we go to the extremes to ensure our own manufacturing reputation, long before you put yours on the line with your customers.

Building
Reliability

So, how do we do it? There are two sides to this
answer. We test our products in Hager laboratories
to guarantee excellence before they are released to
market. We also real-world test our products ‘in the
field’ with installers so you have trustworthy and er-
gonomic products that will always work first time.

Ingeniously
smart

Ingeniously smart solutions have one main
goal – to make your installations on-site easy,
safe and fast.
Hager engineers are constantly looking at areas
that make life simpler for installers such as
providing more hand space to work in and iden-
tifying the details and features which make the
difference for you on the job.

Designed to perform,
built to last.

It’s easy to make great claims about a product but backing it up is what we’re about. Naturally, different products

demand tests specific to their usage. Here’s an overview of the kinds of tests we carry out to make sure we’re

satisfied they meet the real-world conditions which earns us your trust.

Spray water test

To ensure our enclosures are weatherproofed for you, we test them in the wettest conditions. Spray tests in the lab make sure the seals and housings are ready for whatever the weather will throw at them thus guaranteeing satisfaction and peace of mind for you and your customers.

Climate test

Another important reliability test is the climate test. To expose enclosures to high temperatures and humidity we place them in a climate chamber (-15 °C to +50 °C) for 28 days. More tests are then carried out with probes, leaving nothing to chance when it comes to providing you with trustworthy products.

Robot test

In fact, a series of human and robot tests focus on the life span test of products where robots perform 50,000 opening/ closing cycles of a witty car charging socket, to prove the reliability of a product that will be manipulated on many occasions by many people.

Home test

Our engineers are known to take their work home with them, literally! This is called Alpha testing where products get used by them at home. Beta tests where
products are given to expert installers to be refined in the field. Of course, we use our products in Hager factories every day.

“Emotion and usability are tangible values within our products and applications, which aim at providing ease of use, as well as a friendly and authentic experience.”
