SIRIM mark
The SIRIM Mark is a certification issued by the SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd. After receiving the ST-COA from Energy Commission Malaysia, all controlled Items must be registered and labelled with this mark before they can be distributed locally. Registered Suppliers are responsible for proper labelling, and factory audit will be done annually to make sure all the products manufactured follow the standard requirement.
This scheme is regulated by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd, the leading testing, inspection, and certification body in Malaysia.
Currently, 34 categories of household electrical and electronic appliances and accessories are designated as Controlled Items. These require a ST-COA (Certificate of Approval) from Energy Commission Malaysia.

SIRIM Mark for Hager products
All Hager products that belong to SIRIM Mark Controlled Items are appropriately marked in accordance with these guidelines, including:
• Wiring Accessories (WA)
• Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB)
• Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCBs)
Each SIRIM Mark includes an individual QR code identity, issued by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd, which links the product to the SIRIM database.
To ensure safety and peace of mind, always choose products that carry the SIRIM Mark prominently*.
*Details about SIRIM Mark certification can be verified through the SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd website. More comprehensive regulatory information can be found in the Guidelines For The Approval Of The Electrical Equipment Booklet (2024 Edition).

Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) Standard
• an enclosed air break switch;
• opens a low voltage circuit automatically under pre-determined conditions of over-current;
• has a nominal rating not exceeding 125 A and has a current breaking capacity of up to 10kA.
• fusion of one or more of its specially designed and proportioned components, opens the circuit in which it is inserted and breaks the current when this exceeds a given value for a sufficient time.
