Are CPD Courses worth doing?
Absolutely yes for reasons stated above in that our industry does not stand still. Many organisations like professional institutes (i.e. CIBSE, IET) insist on their members carrying out a certain amount each year to prove they are keeping themselves up to date. Lately installer certification bodies (i.e NICEIC, NAPIT) require their members to also prove they are keeping themselves up to date with latest technology. -
What is a CPD course equivalent to?
There isn't a degree equivalent. CPD is a continued professional development accreditation. It is a certification that acknowledges the completion of a training. -
What are CPD accredited courses?
A CPD accredited course is a course verified by 3rd party organisation as meeting the requirements of CPD. CPD is Continued Professional Development. Our industry is constantly changing and professionals who work within it have to continually update their knowledge.
